Steam Engine over the competition?

I have to act like a salesman and state why my product the steam engine is better than anything else on the market back in the industrial revolution. I have to make a brochure and I am going try and include both newcomen who invented the first basic model which really failed and then include James Watt who really made the steam engine live up to its name. What are some of the advantages of the steam engine back in the 18th century, also what where some of the changes from Newcomens engine to Watts?
