I want to use tampons, but I'm too scared...Help?

I totally remember being in your exact situation. I used to use pads for the longest time. I started my period at 11 and I am now 19. I was very worried about using one. but as far as increasing your flow, thats nothing really to worry about. I've never had mine change due to tampons. And TSS was something that scared me away from them for a while, but it is actually only caused by leaving a tampon in too long, and a tampon can be left in for over 8 hours without a worry, just for cleanliness you'll find yourself changing it a little sooner than that. I would definitely give the smallest/lite/teen tampons a try first just to get the feel for it. Good Luck! Hope it helps!
