What can low self esteem lead to?

I'm doing a project for school where I have to make a brochure and I was just wondering what low self esteem can cause. I would greatly appreciate if someone could give me a link with the answers because I need to source where the information came from. I know it can cause eating disorders but I'm not sure what else.
