Best school for fashion design?

Did you know that FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising is not only known for their awesome fashion design program, but they also have a shoe design program? FIDM is located in LA and they have a great reputation in the fashion industry. My friends graduated from FIDM and they told me the school has awesome fashion programs. They also landed some great internships through their career center because of the school's great connections with the fashion industry. My friends both have great careers and loved their experience at FIDM. You talked about famous fashion designers graduating from fashion colleges in Italy, but I do know that a lot of famous fashion designers graduated from FIDM including Monique Lhuillier and one of the founders of Juicy Couture. Check out FIDM's website and see if you like their fashion design program or their shoe design program.
